Visualize your location history
Years of Timeline data make a picture of your life: the streets you walk, the trips you took, the places you return to. Trackmere draws it without sending a single coordinate to a map server.
Heatmap and paths
With many points the map switches to a heatmap; zoom in or pick a day and it shows exact paths. You can also choose Heatmap, Paths or Points yourself. The built-in world map has coastlines, borders, lakes and cities; dense histories draw their own street pattern.
Distances
- Kilometres per year by walking, cycling, car, public transport, boat and flying (from Google’s journey estimates)
- Number of journeys and visits per year
- Estimated journeys (from raw points) are included and explained
Places
The Places tab ranks where you spent your time: number of visits, total hours, first and last visit, and nearest city.
Questions and answers
Why no street map?
Street maps are loaded from tile servers, which would see where you are looking. Trackmere keeps the app fully offline. Each place has an “OpenStreetMap” link if you want to look closer.
How big can my history be?
Millions of points work in a desktop browser; very large files take longer to read.
